Taps Business Development Pro to Lead Government Contractor Team

Bob Sturm Brings Proven Government Contracts Expertise to
   

McLean, Virginia (October 3, 2002) - (), the corporate strategic, management and financial solutions provider for emerging, growth and technology companies, today announced that Robert Sturm has signed on full-time with the Team to lead the Government Contracting Services division. As Executive Consultant, Mr. Sturm will advise companies on breaking the barriers to entry and increased prominence in the government marketplace.

Mr. Sturm was president and CEO of a consulting firm he founded in 2001, Paradigm Consulting, LLC, where he assisted emerging and middle market public sector companies in growing their businesses. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at NIC Commerce where he is credited with leading the company's effort in establishing a dominant position in both the Federal and State/Local markets.

A recent Federal 100 award recipient in recognition of having the greatest impact on the government community, Mr. Sturm built his reputation serving in senior executive positions at Digital Commerce Corporation (DCC), Tracor Enterprise Solutions (formerly Cordant), Digital Equipment Corporation and NEC. In each position, he was responsible for growing the government market sector and, in each leadership role, succeeded in increasing the company pipeline and margins and winning multi-million dollar government contracts.

Additionally, Mr. Sturm is the founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Federal Electronic Commerce Coalition, will serve as Co-Chair for this year's Industry Advisory Council's Executive Leadership Conference's Defending the Homeland Plenary and was the Organizer and Co-Chair of an extremely successful panel entitled, "Helping to Insure a Safer America through Drivers License and Identification Security." He has served on the board of eGov from 1999 to 2001, and spearheaded a number of initiatives including the eGovernment Alliance and a variety of small business forums. An active industry advocate for the advancement and education of uses of Information Technology in the public sector, he is often called upon to provide expert opinion in this sector and as a frequent public speaker.
