James L. Flinn III received his Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Alabama and Masters in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He recently retired from civilian service with the Department of the Army after 35 years, serving as Deputy to the Commanding General, the senior civilian position of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He served the Army in the ranks of Senior Executive Service for twenty three years, with assignments in Germany, twice at Department of Army level in the Pentagon and three Army Materiel Command locations. Mr. Flinn is currently serving on faculty as Executive-in-Residence, College of Administrative Sciences, University of Alabama in Huntsville.
