Gary Nelson has more than 25 years of experience in government and technology services. He helped lead SRA International, Inc. from $2 million in revenues to $300+ million as head of business development and corporate ventures, retiring as Vice Chairman. Prior to SRA, he was a charter member of the Senior Executive Service of the federal government, serving as Associate Director of the Office of Personnel Management responsible for civil service retirement and insurance programs, and as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. Dr. Nelson was also an economist with the Congressional Budget Office, Rand and the Institute for Defense Analyses. Mr. Nelson received his BS in Mathematics from Duke University and his Ph.D. in Economics from Rice University.
